Rogue is growing on me as I play with them more, but again, their gold boosting abilities are globals not passives. Theocrats have the Shrine of Smiting, but their production/gold increasing abilities are globals not passives, which makes them inferior to the Dreadnought's abilities. Spy drones are an excellent mana sink and give incredible scouting/harass early on. Personally I enjoy Warlord, but I think they're a close second to Dreadnought.Įvery single Dreadnought passive is fantastic:Īdd the city enchantment that increases production to all the gold cost decreases, and no other class can match the efficiency in production of a Dreadnought.Īnd the units they're producing are excellent at every tier: Musketeers tear apart tier 1 and 2 units, Flame Tanks wreck any army that doesn't resist fire, and the Juggernaught is widely regarded as the strongest tier 4 unit. So my list would current be, from most OP to least:ĭreadnaught > Theocrat = Warlord > Rogue > Sorcerer? > Arch-Druid. Rogue: no T4 unit but Shadow Stalker and succubus more than make up for it. I think they should get something, like a range wyram to help them out. Shaman is probably the least useful T3 unit. Machine can be repaired is just crazy.Īrch-druid: IMO, most under-powered class. Fire tank is OP due to the crazy leveling it can do. One of my favorite class to play with any race.ĭreadnaught: IMO, most OPed class of all. Smite is OPed at the moment but not sure after the patch. Theocrat: Convert and heal are great unit skills. Seems to be mana heavy and most high level unit are summoned but phantom warrior is nice. Sorcerer: Have not played much with this class. Overall, a bit OP (some spells) but relatively balanced. Warlord: Very good T3 and T4 units, powerful spell. I haven't really play through on all the classes yet but here are some of my thoughts on their ranking in terms of OPness.
